ELECTRICAL TRANSFORMERS-OIL TYPE
The primary and secondary windings of the oil-filled transformers are made of aluminum and / or copper with insulation of the conductors in pure cellulose paper or, for small diameter wires, in double enamel. These windings have an oval or circular section and of the concentric type, coaxial to the core columns.
The case of transformers up to 6300 kVA can be of the elastic wave type, but it is advisable for powers higher than 3150 kVA to provide in any case the presence of an oil expansion tank. For higher powers, radiators in pressed and cold-rolled sheet metal are provided, galvanized on request.
The transformer can be equipped with a protection box on the LV side and / or on the MV side, complete or not with any connection bars and disconnector / switch on both the MV and LV sides.
